Performing Arts Center
The new Performing Arts Center is Ocean City’s premier entertainment venue. Located in the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, the stat-of-the-art theater offers an intimate setting for concerts, musicals, dance performances and more. Design & Integration was responsible for installing the audio visual system within the theater.
The 1200-seat theater features a custom mounted center cluster expanded with line array system from Meyer Sound providing pleasant, full frequency response for concerts and other musical events. Each array consists of twelve modules, each with two 6.5” speakers and a single 3” speaker. The system also includes a subwoofer array which consists of four subwoofers boxes, each with dual 12” speakers.
