Wor-Wic Community College
The Patricia & Alan Guerrieri Technology Center
In Spring 2023, Wor-Wic Community college constructed a 50,000 square foot technology center outfitted with state-of-the-art equipment and technologies to support student learning and practices, preparing them to succeed in the workforce.
The Patricia and Alan Guerrieri Technology Center is located on the south side of the Wor-Wic campus with various welding, metal fabrication, HVACR and plumbing and CDL simulation labs. The center also has a multipurpose makerspace that is open to the public for use.
Design & Integration provided audio-visual systems throughout the building including an impressive 165” video wall in the main lobby area displaying branded graphics and videos, all created by DI’s content division. Other installations include eight conference spaces, six industrial labs, five classrooms, one computer lab, an IT repair room, and several displays in common areas.
The thoughtful integration of these AV systems throughout the center aims to encourage student collaboration, connectivity, and ongoing learning as they work toward earning their technical degree.
