McDonough Hall Auditorium

It was an honor to be part of the comprehensive renovation of the McDonough Hall Hart Auditorium at Georgetown University’s Law Center. This iconic 291-seat auditorium underwent a transformative update to modernize its facilities and enhance the overall user experience.

The scope of the renovation encompassed a complete overhaul of the 46,100 square foot auditorium and accompanying lobby areas. We incorporated a state-of-the-art audiovisual system into the auditorium, ensuring an immersive experience for both the audience and presenter alike.

Marquee keynote speakers require the use of dynamic background imagery to captivate an audience and deliver a resonating message. Our team was able to satisfy the need for a flexible yet effective backdrop by furnishing a stunning LG Direct View LED Video Wall spanning 40’ in width. By interacting with the AV control system, end users are quickly able to adjust the imagery on the LED video wall to suit their presentation needs.

Additionally, the auditorium entry and stage were expanded, and a new stairway was designed to connect the lower and upper lobbies, fostering improved connectivity and traffic flow. Custom design elements such as millwork, fabrics, wood paneling, and metalwork were seamlessly integrated to elevate the space’s aesthetic appeal and functionality.

Overall, our collaboration with Georgetown University Law Center’s renovation project exemplifies our dedication to delivering innovative AV solutions and creating exceptional spaces for both education and recreation.
