Business Development Associate

Full Time, In Office

We are seeking a highly motivated, driven and results-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to join our team. At Design & Integration (DI), we believe in the power of meaningful connections. In this role, you will be a key catalyst for our growth, blending strategic market research with authentic relationship-building to expand our footprint in the commercial low voltage technology space.

What You’ll Do

  • Relationship Cultivation: Build relationships, help nurture existing clients, and mine for opportunities.
  • Strategic Prospecting: Conduct deep-dive market research to identify and qualify high-value opportunities that align within the markets we serve.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain an organized and accurate database ensuring all leads are tracked.
  • Collaborative Support: Assist the Business Development Manager in drafting market research, creating compelling presentations, and preparing for networking events.
  • Represent our Brand: Attend trade shows and networking events to promote DI and generate leads.

What You Bring

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience: 0–2 years of experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to simplifying technical information.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or willingness to learn.
  • The “X” Factor: A high degree of emotional intelligence, critical thinking skills, and a “go-getter” attitude that thrives on identifying and solving client needs.
